INTERNATIONAL CONCERTS, a not-for-profit company, in cooperation with CENTER FOR INTERFAITH DIALOGUE TEMPLE EMANU-EL presents CROSS-CULTURAL CRESCENDO, a Gala Fundraiser Sunday, February 2, 5:30 pm, at the LEON LOWENSTEIN AUDITORIUM, 10 East 66 Street, followed by reception.
The concert will help support International Concerts’ programs of serving diverse cultures and assisting emerging artists. A portion of the proceeds will benefit The Center for Interfaith Dialogue’s outreach.
CROSS-CULTURAL CRESCENDO features famous opera stars from the United States and Georgia singing favorite selections of Verdi, Puccini, and other great composers. It will also feature exciting traditional dance, song and culture of GEORGIA.

SALOME JICIA, Soprano, is a leading star of Tbilisi Opera, Covent Garden, Theatre de la Monnaie, etc. Salome was Musical America’s Artist of the Month that highlighted her as a prominent new star of the opera world. Opera America described her voice as having "A bright, agile, and crystalline quality... navigates coloratura with ease and brilliance."
GIORGI LOMISELI, Baritone, won the coveted Opera Crown Competition and Lado Ataneli International Competitions. He performs leading roles with Tbilisi Opera, opera houses in Germany and is presently appearing in Wexford, Ireland.
Cantor MO GLAZMAN, Tenor of Temple Emanu-el, has a wide repertory of opera and Jewish Cantorial Music. His beautiful voice can be heard gracing services at Temple Emanuel. He brings a taste of Jewish culture to this program.
ZEKARI CHORUS of DANCING CRANE CO,. an ensemble of beautiful Georgian singers performing traditional music of Georgia.
The exuberant PESVEBI Children’s Georgian Song and Dance ensemble that is sure to bring added sparkle to the evening with their delightful folk songs and Sukhishvili - Style dancing.
